So, some of you might have noticed that i sucked at healing the last raid and was bottoming the meters.
or just that i wasn't there.
TL;DR busy weekend w. 39+ hourse of work, understaffed, things didn't go as planned, got home at 20:10 with moderate to severe pain different places and a scrambled brain.
The story:
i am volunteering at a scout center and we had an event this weekend where i had volunteered to be on the bar-crew.
those who had planned it didn't get the amount of volunteers they had hoped for, so we were understaffed for running 2 bars (not the bartending, but logistics and planning), acommodating 300 viking fighters and keeping up with the inhumane amount of beer, mead and liquor they were capable of drinking.
this meant that i ended up being the chief of logistics and the stock along with the practical work of getting the stuff where it needs to be, keeping up & making status on the stock we have every day (long and tiring process) and having to be a bartender at the same time.
we only had a single van which had to be loaded by hand (we're talking about 200+ 30 glass bottle cases of beer and 350+ stone & glass bottles of mead having to be loaded, unloaded and transported in to one of our 2 bars by hand)
i got around 3 hrs of sleep every night and worked from 8AM to 3-4 AM before i had to get up at 7AM and catch the breakfeast before 300 hungry would go full ham on the breakfeast buffet. eventually when everything was packed and done sunday evening @ 6PM i had been working for around 39 hours in a single weekend. first then i got to make my way home, which takes around an hour (but more because we had to unload 3 people on the way there).
the computer didn't exist when i arrived at my apartment; my brain was scrambled, i hadn't showered for 3 days, i had moderate to severe joint and back pains from moving inhumane amounts of filled & empty bottles of beverages and i barely functioned as a human being.
i would like to sincerely apologize for my unannounced absence and any inconveniences it may have caused.
it's not acceptable to do, and not fair towards you guys.
it's halting our progress, but i have to admit that at the current given situation and mindset, i would be halting the progression as well by fucking up; even more than staying away.
this is not an excuse, but simply a explanation; it is not acceptable being absent without announcing it in good time.
